Winter Time Plantings
Tree Replacements and Trimming
We have been working with our arborist in replacing a few failing Callery Pear trees and trimming the old growth from others. The results will give us a much more cohesive and healthy tree stock.
The Following will be planted. Triastania laurina, Bronze Loquat and Arbutus "Marina".

Summertime Planting!
And a little rain!
Today was a welcome "rainy day" in Anchor Cove, and what better time to start planting.
The corner of Day Sailor Court and Schooner Drive are currently being renovated from a turf/tree planting to a more drought tolerant planting of the following.

Community Accolades!
Anchor Cove was recently recognized for our
beautiful landscape renewal and voted property of the month!
As we continue to move to more drought tolerant landscape and remove overgrown and end of life plant material from our community, we hope to see more of an impact to our water bills and an overall cohesiveness to our community.
It is an ongoing commitment and will take time to get there, but we are making headway!
Thanks to all of those who have contributed along the way. Your positive commitment to our community makes this a great place to live.

Landscape Updates
There were two trees removed from Day Sailor Ct / Schooner (near the flagpole). These trees were not growing correctly (bending and not planted deep enough by the developer) and are being replaced with a more drought tolerant landscape within about a month. The removal of the small patch of turf and installation of the new plant materials will add both color and drought resistance. We will post an outline of the new design when it becomes available.
